Arthur Robins Painting Exhibition at Sui Generis
Preview Show Saturday March 12th 2005 6:00PM
New York, NY (March 12, 2005) - Sui Generis will exhibit oil paintings by Arthur Robins at 53 East 58th Street, New York, from March 12 through April 30, 2005.
The artist will be present at a public opening in the store on Saturday, March 12, 2005 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Queensboro Blues and selected works: New York artist Arthur Robins will have on display a cross section of his work,
which is an often-unorthodox depiction of landscapes, park scenes and cityscapes.
In Robins’ work you can see the qualities of those artists he admires most;
Chiam Soutine, George Roault, Edvard Munch – World-renowned art critic Donald Kuspit called Arthur's "Tunnel paintings, “.... a remarkable development in the history of Expressionism."
