WESTERNS

WESTERNS. Westerns, or paintings of Western themes, is mostly an American Idiom, and refers mostly to the American culture. These images, often depict, Gunfighters, Saloons, Western Towns, Horses, Cowboys, Men on Horses, Cowboys around campfires, Cowboys with horses , And rocky mountainous scenes. Personally, growing up in the 1950’s and 60’s, Western TV shows were prevalent, with up to 50 different shows per week. They played into my psyche and came out in my art. I have many more than are shown here.
