PARKS. Most of my Park Paintings are from actual drawings of parks in New York City. These include Washington Square Park, Central Park, Thompkins Square Park, and others. Park interest includes, trees, people playing, people talking, park with buildings, park with squirrels, dog walkers, and bench sitters. The drawings themselves are made on small drawing pads, usually in charcoal pencil, taking an hour or two. They are made into larger oil paintings between a year and 20 years later, if ever.
