AGAINST THE ODDS
This painting was made just as I and four other artists filed a lawsuit against the City of NewYork.
We were suing to force them to respect our constitutional right to show and sell our art on the public sidewalks.
They had 600 lawyers, we had two. They had unlimited funds, we had pennies. They fought us tooth and nail.
This shooter is making an almost impossible shot. And he is playing against people who, even if he wins, might take him out.
He's betting against all odds, but he's going for it. For the record-he makes the shot!
And three and a half years later, the Supreme Court of the United States settled our case- WE WON!
